The personal information may include but not restricted to your business, your staff, deceased persons and their relatives such as responsible persons and can include:
- Deceased name, their gender, date of birth/death, the location/date/time of their funeral and occasionally the circumstances surrounding their death.
- Photos of the deceased, their family members and friends.
- Responsible Persons name, email address and telephone number
- Responsible Persons relationship to the deceased.
- Locations of funerals – both public and private services.
- Celebrants or clergy name, email address or telephone number.
- Staff names, email addresses and telephone numbers.
- Subscriber information via eTributes.
- Completed statutory forms (via websites we have designed).
- Communications sent via your website (where we have designed and developed the website).
All personal information we collect is necessary for the operation of our business. By providing personal information to us, you are consenting to our collection of the information.
Whenever it is lawful and practicable, you will have the option of not identifying yourself when entering transactions with us. If you choose to withhold personal information however, we may not be able to provide the best or most appropriate service possible.
What do we use your personal information for?
We may use you or your clients personal information you provide us to help us develop, deliver and improve the supply of our products, services, content and advertising. Our uses may include:
- Fulfil any orders we have received from our clients.
- Contact relevant parties, including family members or suppliers, in respect to the orders we receive for eTributes or printed materials.
- Internal recording keeping.
- To personalise any correspondence we may have with you or your clients;
- Improve our products (such as eTributes or printed materials) and our website content.
- To communicate with you or your clients regarding messages posted on eTributes or any automated eTributes email communications to family members or subscribers.
- Provide copies of order forms to third parties such as printers, florists, DVD providers etc. that either the funeral home or families have authorised us to engage/contact.
- Disclosure to our external website and order form developers.

We will not disclose your personal information or any of your clients details to any third party without your consent subject to this Privacy Policy and unless authorised or required by Australian privacy laws.

We are committed to ensuring your personal information is secure. We will take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the personal information we collect online. However, please note that no transmission over the internet is completely secure. If communications over the internet concern you, please contact us through alternate means.
All personal information we no longer require will be destroyed or permanently de-identified, however, information will be retained for as long as the law requires.
Whether we are likely to disclose personal information to overseas recipients and, if so, the countries in which such recipients are likely to be located if it is practicable to specify those countries in the policy.
We are an Australian owned and operated group of companies based in Melbourne, Geelong and Queensland. Our physical and electronic records are all based in Australia. All of our suppliers are based in or have local offices in Australia. We are therefore not likely to disclose personal information to overseas recipients.
From time to time we work with overseas based web developers who occasionally have access to backend website data which is unrelated to our core products (i.e. eTributes and Printed Material).
How do we use electronic tools?
